  1. Humpback whales

Humpback whales can be found in the Bermuda Triangle, and they are so exotic, you might want to look at them again. These Whales could easily fit a human inside their mouth, so they are naturally quite massive. However, they are friendly creatures and love to interact with other cetaceans around them. You can easily find them in many oceans around the world. However, they are most commonly found in this region. They also travel too much every year and indulge in some of the longest migrations ever. They may even grow to 17 meters at a time.

  1. Bermuda petrel

Bermuda Petrel is the national bird of this place. You can see it flying around in many regions without any hindrance. However, for about 300 years, people thought it had gone extinct. But we again discovered this in 1951. A national programme has been designed to preserve these birds and conserve their species for the long run. You can find them near the Islands of Bermuda Atlantic Ocean. You can find nearly 300 petrels in this region. They also have a wingspan of 92cm, which makes them so different from others. Small squids and shrimps are some of their favourite foods to feast on.

  1. Bermuda buckeye butterfly

Another remarkable creature that you can find in the Bermuda region is the Bermuda Buckeye Butterfly. It is an endemic subspecies that is nearly olive-brown. If you notice its forewings, you will realise that it has marks at the tip. Generally, these creatures love to feast on weedy and ornamental flowers. They also have a wingspan of 45 to 70mm. Apart from this, they are exquisite to look at. So, do not forget to take a closer look at them when you visit the region.

  1. Bermuda cave shrimps

Although these are endangered species, you are bound to fall in love with them at first sight. They are now protected by the Bermudian Law and were discovered in 1985. If you go snorkelling across the clear blue ocean here, you will notice these cute cave shrimps there. Although they are pretty small, it is easy to spot them for their colour and behaviour. They will be swimming around to rest on rocky surfaces whenever possible. However, they are blind, so you may need to be a bit cautious with them.

  1. Land hermit crabs

These crabs like to use old marine shells for their protection. But with each time in life, you will notice that they keep differing in size. This can be pretty interesting to spot. You will also find them in either purple or red colours, but they also have big jaws. You will often notice them growing to nearly four inches in size. If you visit the coastline of the beaches, Land Hermit Crabs will be pretty easy to spot. Land Hermit Crabs also keep discarding their shells and find new ones to protect themselves.

  1. Bermuda longtails

Bermuda Longtails are beautiful, exquisite and surreal to look at. These nesting birds live on the Island and are single-white feathered. These birds usually love to fly in small groups. As such, you can see them in the Bermuda regions regularly. They are also known to use their same mates continuously, which makes them so beautiful.

  1. Sea turtles

There are five common sea turtles that you are bound to find in these regions. They can grow up to four feet at a time and weigh nearly 400 pounds. That is why we recommend you to see them whenever possible. They also have a highly relaxed nature and can be found when you snorkel around the Ocean waters. They are also quite friendly, so you are bound to have a good time with them. When you go for tours during the peak season, do not forget to spot Sea Turtles.
