The Mantled Guereza is a species of ape that inhabits rainforest and swampy areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Cameroon, and Uganda. It looks very similar to the Western Lowland Gorilla, but it’s much smaller – ranging from 115-150cm tall (45-59 inches). 

These apes are omnivores with a diet consisting mainly of fruits such as figs while also eating leaves and seeds when necessary.
